Smile Safe Kids

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS:

The SmileSafe Kids communications we're providing here include a variety of safety tips and prevention strategies from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). These tips were provided to Newcastle to help deliver a more comprehensive and effective safety program to our community.
NCMEC serves as a clearinghouse for child safety information and a resource for child protection. This non-profit organization educates families on how to better protect their children by teaching them to be smarter and safer. NCMEC believes the best way to combat child exploitation and abduction is to prevent it. To that end they have joined with LifeTouch school photos and Newcastle to provide the badges that were sent home. In addition they are providing the following safety tip publications.
