I will be back at Newcastle next year and anticipate that I will have the same schedule I have had this year (Mondays, Thursdays, and alternating Wednesdays).

School Counselors have a tremendous impact helping students achieve school success by helping students examine their abilities, gifts, strengths, and interests. 

The Issaquah School District counseling program is a comprehensive guidance program.  The elementary component focuses on the persona/social development of ALL students at Newcastle.  Curriculum includes structured developmental experiences presented systemically through classroom lessons and group activities; responsive services to meet the immediate needs and concerns of individual students; and system support including consultation with parents and teachers.
