We have a every expanding and developing video program at Newcastle. As the Tech Specialist I help support this growth.

With financial support from our PTSA we have purchased video cameras, tripods, supplies and a video editing computer to facilitate this program.

Currently we have a student video club. Our club has shot and edited mini video projects. You'll find more information on this club on the club and activities page.

Mrs. Simonson, Ms. Keller, Mrs. Winegar, and I, Ms. Connie, have been working on video editing as a hobby for a few years and are working to incorporate video more and more with school projects.

It is our plan to use video with students to increase writing skills by taping story reading by students.
