present "Mother Goose's Goose is Loose!" With the help of familiar nursery rhymes set to music, some lively dances, rhyming dialogue and giant-sized puzzle, the children will help Mother Goose find her lost gander and soar through the skies. Our talented Kindergarten classes present their live performance on Thursday, May 1st, 2008, at 7:00 pm. What a wonderful evening this will be! Our young musicians always delight everyone in the audience, and learn valuable school-age lessons as well. We'll see you there! During the entire school year, you will find us singing, dancing, playing our non-pitched instruments, exploring the barred instruments, and creating our own "very first rhythm" patterns. The students will be working on lessons that reinforce steady beat, left-to-right tracking, sequence, pitch-matching, and the basic notes and rests that make up the Language of Music. Readers and Pre-Readers alike gain important cross-curricular skills through these units of study ---- and we have a lot of fun while we're learning!
