Jogging Club
Advisor: Mr. Miller
The Newcastle Jogging Club is a fall program running from the middle of October to late November that wraps up by participating in the optional kid's portion of the Seattle Marathon on Saturday, November 24th. Dates of Jogging Club (Tuesdays/Thursdays): 10/16, 10/18, 10/23, 10/25, 10/30, 11/1, 11/6, 11/8, 11/15, 11/20. For an application please click here to go to the P.E. website.
- Knights Chess Club

Lions Chorus
Advisor: Mrs. Wood
Chorus is comprised of students in grades 3, 4, and 5. We meet from 1:20 until 2:20 each Wednesday afternoon to rehearse our unison and 2-part songs. For more information about chorus please click on the club title.

Math
Olympiad
Advisor: Mr. Miller and Mrs. Buder
Math Olympiad is a challenging 5th grade math program in a team format. Students will work together on Friday mornings (8:15 - 9:10) starting in December to prepare for a competition in May 2008. Please visit Mr. Miller's P.E. website for more information.

Passport Club

- Safety Patrol
Advisor: Mr. Miller
Safety Patrol consists of fifth grade volunteers who demonstrate responsibility and respectful behaviors. Students work on a rotating schedule to monitor student safety. There are occasional meetings to discuss strategies or share feedback. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please contact Mr. Miller and obtain the parent permission slip.

Tennis Club

Video Production Club
Advisors: Ms. Keller, Ms. Simonsen, and Ms. Hanson
Club students meet on Thursday mornings. They work as a team to learn the basics of video production and write, direct, act, film, edit and publish mini movies. Session 1 from 11-1 thru 1-24, Session 2 from 2-28 thru 5-8.
