Test Scores available on Family Access
Spring 2008 WASL Results
WASL results from spring 2008 testing will be
available in Family Access for students who tested in grades 3-12,
beginning Friday, September 19. Families without internet access may
request paper copies from their student’s school. Forgotten log-in or
password information for Family Access may be obtained from individual
schools.
High school score reports, including 10th
grade science scores, will be mailed home on September 19.
The Office of the Superintendent of Public
Instruction (OSPI) has created one-page summaries of learning
expectations for students in grades K-10 called “Your Child’s Progress”.
These summaries may be viewed or downloaded at the following link on the
OSPI website.

Results from the August WASL testing will not be
available until November or December.
Sign up for
Family
Access, if you haven’t already done so, here’s how it works:
A user-name and password is issued for the entire family.
This
login is used throughout your children’s attendance in the Issaquah
School District. You will not receive a new login each year.
As a custodial parent(s) you will need to present a photo ID and sign a
log before receiving your Family Access Logins.
This
process documents who received and signed for authorized usernames and
passwords. You can receive your logins from any school where your child
attends.
If you are a non-custodial parent or guardian with legal authority
to
receive student educational information, you will need to contact the
school registrars with proof of ID and proper authorization papers
before you are issued Family Access Logins.
For parents who are unable to pick up their Family Access Login
at
school you may try the following: If you have your e-mail address
entered in the system, you can login to Family Access at the Issaquah
District website:
www.issaquah.wednet.edu
and click on ‘Forgot your login or password?’ Your username and password
will then be e-mailed to you. If your e-mail was not recognized call the
Main Office at 425-837-5800 Option 0 and give your valid e-mail address.
Newcastle will enter it into the student database and you will then be
able to get your login and password. The new District policy is that
scores will not be mailed to you; parents can access on-line. |
